4:50 AM SIGLAP SECONDARY SCHOOL: SILVER! =D We did it bandits! We made it! The sec 4s and 5 graduated without regrets! Everyone was happy and jumping with joy. Tears of joy flowed and everyone hugged each other. We have maintained a silver and we could get the fund of 50k! We did cheers, sang the school song and the band spirit song! We've achieved our GOAL! When we were up on stage, it doesn't felt like a competition! To me, it's just like a normal practice, where we will do our best and play out. We were relaxed! After the performing, we moved out and everyone was jumping for joy, cause we made it! Some cried, and made me want to cry. I quickly ran to find Kelvin and join them, lol. I told Kelvin we are strong, we don't cry. Who knows, after the announcing of results, i cried. Tears of joy, i emphasize again, haha. Kel, i can't find you, and i couldn't control my tears. I'm just too happy! We hugged each other and after that we were taking pictures! Hahaha. Our eyes were red and face were oily, hair was in a mess! But who cares, it's for SYF! Our last SYF as a secondary student! At least this time round, the graduating bandits leave without regrets! Mdm Sahrul, Mr Tharmen and Mr Ng Chee kheong came to support us! It's really nice to see them there! Especially Mdm Sahrul and Mr Tharmen! Mdm Sahrul was once our band TIC! I really missed her in band! Thank you teachers for coming and your support for us! AND, not forgetting Mrs Wendy Koh! Our faithful band TIC! Last but not least, Mr Pan! Our conductor, who is always patient with us and of course whacking us when we made silly, stupid mistakes! Hahaha. =X Till now, only 1 school got Gold With Honours. Which is St. Patricks. Janna said it's her curse, haha! But, they are really good. Real good. Don't be disheartened juniors! They too take a decade to be like this. We are going through the process now which they have been through! Refining and improving! Endure and you will reap what you sow! Perseverance and determination! I believe SCB can make it to be like them one day! The only obstacle is yourself. You guys can do it! =D I LOVE SIGLAP CONCERT BAND! I've learned a lot throughout my 4 years in band. Life skills, the most important. We've been through ups and downs together. Quarrels, misunderstandings, scoldings, joy, wonderful memories. Everything is part and parcel of life! Where on Earth you can experience all these?! As a leader, I did learned a lot. Although I might not be that fantastic, but I did have this chance to be a leader of SCB and lead with Mega and Jinyong. I have learned wonderful things from everyone and I'm really glad. I will always remember what Mr Pan had told me, "A good leader is someone who serves." Time really flies. A blink of your eyes and 4 years is almost gone. My secondary school life is ending. I really missed the times i had in band and i really enjoyed my band life. Although there are times i really wanted to give up, but our passion, our bond made me continue and strive even harder. I will never forget SIGLAP CONCERT BAND! I am an Alumni now! Whoots! :D |
