12:40 PM  "Magnetism."I guess you should know what the exam is tomorrow by looking at this picture. I don't know why I just don't really like Physics. It's common sense I know, but I always lose marks because of careless mistakes and stuffs. Stupid, idiotic mistakes. Plus, tomorrow there is also A math paper 1. Goner man. I'm very scared for my A math. Just hope it isn't that bad tomorrow. I've been revising through since afternoon till 7 just now. 22 formulas for Physics. 1. v=d/t 2. a=v-u/t 3. F=ma 4. K.E.=1/2mv 5. T=1/f 22. f=1/T These are mostly the formulas. This is a good way for me to test myself on the subject ugh, haha. Interesting way of learning. :) Alpha particles are Helium nucleus with positive(2+) charge. Beta particles are high-energy electrons with negative(-1) charge. Gamma rays are high-energy electromagnetic waves with no charge. Half-life is defined as the time taken for half of the unstable nuclei to decay. Transverse waves travels in a direction perpendicular to the direction of vibration. Longitudinal waves travels in a direction parallel to the direction of vibration. Transverse waves can travel in vacuum, longitudinal waves cannot. Transverse waves travels at a speed of 3.0 x 10, same as speed of light. Laboratory thermometer range is -10°C to 110°C. Clinical thermometer range is from 35°C to 42°C. Conduction occurs mainly in solids. Convection occurs mainly in liquids and gases. Radiation is the transfer of energy in the form of electromagnetic waves. Ohm's Law - The current flowing in a metallic conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference applied across its ends, provided that the physical conditions are constant. Live wire(brown) delivers energy at high alternating voltage to the appliance. Neutral wire(blue) completes the circuit by forming a path for the current back to the supply. Earth wire(green/yellow) is connected to the metal casing of the appliance, and it protects any users from getting a electric shock when the appliance is faulty and should the metal casing accidentally become live.
